How to Buy Cheap Cars
Cars are a symbol of power. Private lots and huge car collections are the fantasy of many celebrity watchers. But for some people cheap cars are the way to go. It's doesn't have to be a clunker just because it doesn't cost a lot. Less expensive can still be functional, and even fun. Any car you choose, be sure to get a good car insurance.
A used car purchase can save a lot of money. Even luxury models are much less expensive when purchased second handSecond hand luxury models are cheaper than new. A whole new term has emerged for higher quality used vehicles – pre-owned. Some people who always bought new have crossed over into pre-owned. Think about luxury vehicles. Even after 10 years a well built Lexus can look and drive like new. Many people always buy late model used cars instead of new ones.Remember the chauffeur in “Driving Miss Daisy”? He always bought Miss Daisy's second hand, luxury cars.
Some cheap new cars are quite nice, too. Companies like Hyundai make excellent cars that can be purchased new for under $12,000. A car like the Honda Civic weighs in at about $15,000 for one of the best engineered cars in the world. That car lasts a long time, and gets great gas mileage. Luxury cars that need premium fuel and parts are generally more expensive to maintain too. If you are planning in getting professional car insurance advice, checkout the price, as car insurance rates are rising.
Try the cheaper, not really cheap, luxury cars. The Audi brand is generally at the bottom portion of the price spectrum in the luxury class. Audi boasts the top engineered cars in the world, bar none. The Audi TT can be just as much fun as a Porsche, but much less expensive.
Of course some people want cheap, cheaper, cheapest. They turn to the clunker, the hooptie, the ancient model car that was probably old when their parents first bought a car. Teenagers often purchase such a car as their first vehiclePeople often purchase such a car as a first vehicle for a teen. As long as it's safe to drive, it gets them from A to B. Be careful because cheap cars can be busts. It may not seem like such a deal when it won't start on a cold winter morning.
